What do Ford and Spitzer madam have in common?

Both of them pin their hopes for the future on poker.

I don’t know why I started getting e-mails from the Elliot Spitzer madam, who is running for governor in New York as a libertarian, but I do, and today I got this one:

MADAM: PUT POKER AT OTB
BRING IN TRUMP OR WYNN

Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Kristin Davis today proposed the State legalize poker at the state’s existing OTB locations and “other locations as may benefit the state’s economy,” rather than shut down the off-track betting sites in kristin-pinkNew York as is currently being proposed because of OTB’s precarious financial situation.

“New York could make millions of dollars in revenue by legalizing, regulating and taxing poker games in New York State,” said Davis who supplied call girls for Eliot Spitzer and went to prison for breaking the laws against prostitution. Spitzer was not charged.

“The State should bid these poker rooms out to Steve Wynn, or Donald Trump for the best possible management and presentation,” said Davis. “The State should legalize gaming because we are losing billions of dollars of revenue to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and Delaware. Poker should be a first step.”

Davis noted that the State of Florida legalized poker games and took in an additional $10.8 million this year in gaming revenue. They took in $37,430,421 since 2003. “As Governor I would push for poker at appropriate locations across the State, including all OTB and pari-mutuel facilities,” said Davis. “It is an attractive alternative to raising taxes and closing OTBs.”

Davis has previously proposed the legalization, regulation and taxation of both prostitution and marijuana. “Support for legalized gambling fits my libertarian outlook,” said the former Hedge Fund Vice President who built the most successful high end escort service in U.S. history, which made over $6 million a year after grossing twice that.

Davis will either seek the New York Libertarian party nomination or petition her way onto the ballot as the candidate of a new libertarian based party.

For his part, Sen. Robert Ford continues to tout the return of video poker as the answer to all South Carolina’s ills…

Great company to be in, huh?

That’s the type politician we need to run for governor of South Carolina. Not only would every male member of the Senate and House fall all over themselves to appease her, the same would happen when she went to Washington asking for aid. The only male she’d have to be concerned with is Barney Frank.

Wow. Y’all find that look attractive? Kinda drag queenie from where I’m sitting.

If “y’all” refers to guys, the answer is NO.

A blow-up sex doll would be more attractive than the person in that photo. And probably safer for your health. Not that that’s meant as a compliment to the blow-up sex doll.

Speaking of which, I saw a really good movie a week or two ago, “Lars and the Real Girl.” It’s about a shy guy who orders a high-quality (don’t ask) sex doll from the Internet, and then starts introducing “her” to his family and friends, pretending that she’s real — and persuading them to go along with it.

It is a LOT better than it sounds. It was pretty amazing, even heart-warming, in terms of what it manages to say about real relationships between real people. I thought it was going to be one that after three minutes, I’d turn to my wife and say, “Sorry about that one,” and I’d turn it off and send it right back to Netflix. But this time, taking a chance on a movie paid off. We both loved it.

Yeah, “Lars” is a good, offbeat movie.

Is the above lady attractive? It’s hard to tell. Too much oomph, not enough la-di-da, plus, she’s apparently tattooed, never a good sign. Looks carnivorous.

    Jesse James would like her!
