Y’all haven’t really gotten excited about anything I’ve posted the last couple of days, judging by the dearth of comments, so may there’s something else you’d like to talk about.

I have been in Germany the last two weeks. My favorite political conversation was as follows:
Russian guy: Gorbachev was not a great leader.
Czech guy: My countrymen would not agree.
I think the Russian was saying that Gorbachev was not great at actual administration. He likes Putin, though.
As for the rest of you — now you don’t even like Open Threads? Sheesh…

Did you see this week that the SC Chamber of Commerce is now supporting a gas tax increase? It’s starting to sound like something that can actually happen…
